I finished editing and creating my bonus coverage of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train in Gurnee, Illinois. I included my own voiceover as well as interviews which is part of the requirements to make a great news package. This was my final exam project for broadcast class in school and I thought I'd share my final product on A-Train4014 Productions. All the work of editing, creating, interviewing, and video footages are done by me. By the way, I received an A on my project  which made it persuaded me to put it on A-Train4014 Productions. Enjoy! P.S. Eagle Eye News is the name of the broadcast team at Lakes Community High School in which I'm apart of for signing up for Broadcast Journalism class.

I made another surprise trip to Lake Forest Train Station. One of my friends, Caleb Lapinskas from my broadcast class is interested in using A-Train4014 Productions as a news package for a final exam project. Stay tuned for more updates and Caleb's project will be posted here soon. While railfanning, I caught a really special diesel locomotive that I never thought I would catch before. Pay attention to the second locomotive in this freight train.

I made a special trip to Gurnee, Illinois near Viking Middle School to catch the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train! What a great way to kick off the holiday season and spread some cheer. On the weekend of November 21-22, I made a trip to Grayslake, Illinois at the Lake County Fairgrounds to attend the Great Train Show at the Lake County Fairgrounds. Despite the first snowfall, I managed to get there safely. Thanks to Branden and Mary Phillips for coming along for the ride as we got to see cool train stuff. Also stick till the very end to see my shopping souvenirs from the Great Train Show.

I made my return to Lake Forest train station to go railfanning again. What’s the occasion? It was my birthday! I turned 19 which was unbelievable. Filming trains is something that I never get to do on my birthday and I was finally able to accomplish that. Not only I had a great time to myself, I saw many trains which put a big smile on me. Lake Forest, IL is my home away from home. Not only that is where I was born, but that is known as my "playground" for railfanning. I love railfanning there because of the variety I can see. I made a stop at Lake Villa train station with Branden Phillips. Even though this is the closest train station to my home and it was close to school, why not take a trip there for a few minutes. It wasn't bad. Four trains seen total. Two freight trains, two Metra trains. Here are the trains caught on film at Lake Villa train station.

This is my first railfanning trip on the Metra BNSF Railway route. My buddy, Branden Phillips and I decided to check out the BNSF Racetrack for a change. So we chose to go to Hinsdale train station because it was recommended by a close friend. We had a blast! Yes, trains actually race each other. I actually got to witness two trains race each other during the morning rush hour when I was there. I had a really fun time and I can't wait to go back again someday. I had some problems exporting my movie since it was so long and I caught that many trains at Hinsdale. We didn’t want the day to end since it was so much fun. I don’t think we never caught this many trains in one day. Check out all the trains we caught!
