A-Train4014 Productions heads out to the Illinois Railway Museum in honor of our
three year anniversary on YouTube for the Vintage Transportation Extravaganza
where the event featured vintage vehicles ranging from classic fire trucks, school
buses, and of course vintage cars that date back to the 80’s, 70’s, and even 60’s!
While we were there, we took a short look at some of the various vintage vehicles
on display around the Illinois Railway Museum property. In addition, Frisco 1630
and CB&Q 9911A along with several trolleys and streetcars operated short train
rides around the museum property. So our crew was very busy once Frisco 1630
and CB&Q 9911A were on the move ready for their runs onto the museum’s four
mile main line. While the weather may have been humid, our crew stayed cool
under shades and staying hydrated with lots of water. Overall, busy and fun day
at the Illinois Railway Museum. Stay tuned next week for our return trip to the
Illinois Railway Museum for it’s annual Diesel Days event. Enjoy our video from the
