We’ve finally accomplished our goals this year as we’re halfway into our Railfanning Marathon Week: Summer Edition. One of many goals this year was to make a trip to Rochelle Railroad Park or the BNSF Racetrack. It’s even better if we were able to do both this year. Today, we made it happen. The drive seemed long. Our team has been here before. However, A-Train4014 Productions didn’t exist at the time. One thing we learned when we arrived 7am, it was once a horn zoned area which turned into a no train horn zone area. It made things a bit The action wasn’t busy as we thought. By 10-11am, the action was almost dead. With the threat of storms coming as well, we couldn’t wait any longer. By 2pm, we were packing it up. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing day at Rochelle Railroad Park. The drive from our headquarters to Rochelle Railroad Park and back felt like driving to a different state like Indiana. But it is well worth the drive because it is a unique place. It is every railfan’s dream to go to a place like Rochelle Railroad Park.
