I made a little short trip to Lake Forest train station with Jacob Brugioni and Branden Phillips to catch a unique Amtrak Empire Builder consist that has four locomotives and seven private coaches trailing. It was delayed for about an hour and a half so I had to wait it out for a little bit. So no problem. I still caught some other trains including some of the Metra trains and some freight trains including a couple Amtrak Hiawatha trains. The weather was decent which made some great pictures and video quality look good in my opinion. After seeing trains, it was very difficult to pick the Highlight of the Day so this week, there are two of them. Thanks to Sethamtrak for the update on this unique Amtrak Empire Builder consist including the delay updates.
