A-Train4014 Productions returns to our normal railfanning schedule after a fun
and busy September filming Milwaukee Road 261, Nickel Plate Road 765, and
Frisco 1630 as part of our first ever Steamy September segment. Because rain
was listed in the forecast for our area, we decided to take a chance and go out
trackside.  Luckily, the rain only was misty and it eventually stopped by the afternoon.
We took a chance on filming on the CN Waukesha Subdivision in our hometown of
Lake Villa, IL. We thought we would only see Metra commuter trains. However, by
the time the afternoon approached, freight trains started showing up. In fact, a herd
of freight trains begin showing up by noon and eventually stopped just in time for the
evening rush. After filming in Lake Villa, this marked the most bizzare day of filming
trains simply because so many trains came just as soon as we were trying to leave
at 3pm. Overall, it was a good day out trackside. Stay tuned next week for another
