When we last visited Naperville, it was average. What made it even worse was when
Metra F40PHM 210 showed up. At the end of that day, we came up with NO
Highlight of the Day which marks the first time in A-Train4014 Productions History
that we never found “Highlight of the Day” on the BNSF Chicago Sub. Few
months later, we decided to give Naperville another chance. All morning
towards noon, the commuter trains dominated as Metra and Amtrak trains
made station stops with only one freight train within the hour. By noon, our
crew was getting very nervous that history might repeat itself with NO
Highlight of the Day. But after lunch hour, the BNSF sent out the freight trains
which became a very busy day. At the end of the cold and windy day, this was
sweet redemption from the last visit in Naperville. Overall, another solid day on
the BNSF Chicago Sub.
