It’s been a while since we’ve been out trackside on a weekday. Since it was almost Andrew’s birthday, he decided to head out to Lake Forest on his day off from school on Friday, September 22, 2017 for some railfanning to himself before he turns 21 years old soon. It's been a very busy day. Canadian Pacific has squeezed in more freights after the Metra and Amtrak trains. In fact, there were a total of 12 freights trains. In total, we caught 54 trains.
