It’s been awhile since we’ve been out railfanning at Rondout. But after overhearing that Amtrak 7 may have Private Coaches, it was time for us to head out trackside. What started out was light sprinkles at Rondout but then the sky cleared up just after lunch hour. It was busy as soon as we arrived with three trains coming within the first 30 minutes. While we’re waiting on Amtrak 7, we caught the usual Metra trains and Amtrak Hiawatha trains which included Amtrak 406 in front of Amtrak 90221.
