Happy National Train Day to all! Love train horns? No problem. Check out all the hornshows caught on camera! The locations are all in Illinois. Hinsdale, Lake Forest, Lake Villa, Gurnee, From the freight trains to the commuter trains. Most of the train horns were featured in Highlight of the Day in my railfanning adventures too. National Train Day is one of my favorite holidays because it celebrates all about trains! Even though there are no festivities going on this year, I'd thought I celebrate myself. I made a trip to Lake Forest train station. Despite the very windy day, it was still great to see some trains.
