Lake Forest Railfanning

I made a trip to Lake Forest train station with my buddy, Branden Phillips to watch some trains again. My first of many trips this summer to Lake Forest train station. Besides being soaked in the rain, it was still fun to watch trains. I made a trip to Lake Villa train station after finally graduating high school! The weather was great which made the trip much more relaxing and fun. However, there are no hornshows caught on camera so that means there is NO Highlight of the Day. Shoutout to Branden Phillips for coming along. We made it through high school!

Lake Forest Railfanning

For the second consecutive weekend, it was another windy and chilly day at Lake Forest train station. But I think this was one of the most successful trips because all but one train gave off nice horns including in the Highlight of the Day. I made another trip to Lake Forest train station to catch a special Metra charter excursion that was supposed to make a stop in Fox Lake, IL and then back to Elgin, IL based on from friends from Facebook. Shoutout to my friends, Branden Phillips and Jacob Brugioni for coming along. I came what I was looking for despite a very windy and cold day.

Happy National Train Day to all! Love train horns? No problem. Check out all the hornshows caught on camera! The locations are all in Illinois. Hinsdale, Lake Forest, Lake Villa, Gurnee, From the freight trains to the commuter trains. Most of the train horns were featured in Highlight of the Day in my railfanning adventures too.
