A-Train4014 Productions makes a return trip to the spot where we reached over 13,000 views from Day Out With Thomas. We made a trip to the Illinois Railroad Museum in Union, IL for Memorial Day weekend to witness the first steam operations of the year. The rain came early as we arrived at IRM. However, it started to clear up the sky by lunch time and the weather turned out better than expected. We had a great time at IRM seeing the Nebraska Zephyr and Frisco 1630. Can't wait to come back to IRM again in the near future as we tested out a new feature on our camera credit to Miles Jajich. As a result, our shots were better than expected.

Lake Forest Railfanning

A-Train4014 Productions heads to Lake Forest for our weekly railfanning work day. Our friend, Miles Jajich joins us later in the day. Unlike last week, the weather was much better as far as the temperature is. Even though there was rain in the forecast and on the weather radar, it didn’t stop us because thunder and lightning wasn’t in the mix. Amtrak and Metra trains have been dominating throughout the day. Surprisingly, there weren’t a lot of freight trains as only five freight trains showed up.

Grayslake Railfanning

A-Train4014 Productions returns to Grayslake station as we had a few errands to do around the area that we needed to take care of before our trip to Lake Forest tomorrow morning. While railfanning Grayslake, we caught a surprise engine. Overall, it was a pretty good day. At least the weather wasn’t much of an issue today as it was cloudy yet pretty cool morning at Grayslake.

A-Train4014 Productions goes trackside at Rondout as we had a few hours of nothing to do so we decided to go filming trains. There was reported a private coach on the rear of Amtrak Empire Builder 7 but it when it passed us just about 3:00PM CT, it wasn’t there for some reason. It was a decent day. However, we did have to battle with the weather a little bit as some isolated showers have passed throughout the day.

A-Train4014 Productions returns to Lake Forest as Casey Walker (Warbonnet 669 Productions), David Dupuis, William Dube, and Andrew Sonkin join us in an effort to catch the Milwaukee Road coaches on Amtrak Empire Builder 7. Unfortunately, Mother Nature still decides to rain on our parade as we planned on going to the Illinois Railway Museum for Chicago and North Western Day. The sun popped out every once in awhile. But we caught a good variety early in the morning. By the time, Amtrak 7 approached us at Lake Forest, we ran into a little bit of unexpected, uncontrollable incident which we decide to have a little fun with at the end of the video. In addition, keep watching till the end of the video as we included a special announcement as we welcomed Casey Walker to A-Train4014 Productions. Casey will be our Researcher and Developer for us. As a result, Warbonnet 669 Productions will be working in a alliance force with A-Train4014 Productions. We look forward to future successes with Casey and hope this joined force will benefit both sides of the spectrum.

A-Train4014 Productions has hired a new member to the team. Please welcome Casey Walker, who is Warbonnet 669 Productions on YouTube. After having long discussion for a while, we have decided to hire Casey Walker as he will be our Research and Developer. We've been railfanning with Casey for a while and was interested in joining forces between A-Train4014 Productions and Warbonnet 669 Productions. Finally, we came to an agreement and decide it was time to make a change. We hope that A-Train4014 Productions and Warbonnet 669 Productions will benefit on both of the spectrum as far working in an alliance. So far, we're seeing positive results. Lake Forest Railfanning

A-Train4014 Productions heads to Lake Forest for our weekly railfanning day as Fridays will be our only full day of railfanning for the week. Unfortunately, Mother Nature took away the nice weather from the past few days and winter has hit us hard. It was the windy AND rain that made the day pretty miserable which resulted our original plan for the day to change. Our original plan was to stay for Jeff’s outbound run back to Fox Lake. But we hoped the weather would improve but there was no sign for improvement in the weather. So after both Amtrak Empire Builder trains passed through, it was time to call it off for the day. Hopefully the weather will be much better for next week.
