Rail Safety Week
Created on 9/29/17
Operation Lifesaver is an organization that motivates railroad safety around the United States. The week of September 24-30 is declared as Rail Safety Week where railroad police and Operation Lifesaver instructors and representatives go around train stations spreading the word about railroad safety. Our very own, Andrew Mangalindan discusses the dangers being around railroad tracks. In addition, he talks about ways of how to be safe and how you can be a positive impact. Whether you’re filming trains, driving, biking, skateboarding, or walking around railroad tracks, remember to use caution as trains can come at any time of the day. Credit to Operation Lifesaver for the safety tips on how to be safe around railroad tracks. See Tracks. Think Train.
