A-Train4014 Productions heads to Lake Forest for our weekly railfanning day as Fridays will be our only full day of railfanning for the week. Unfortunately, Mother Nature took away the nice weather from the past few days and winter has hit us hard. It was the windy AND rain that made the day pretty miserable which resulted our original plan for the day to change. Our original plan was to stay for Jeff’s outbound run back to Fox Lake. But we hoped the weather would improve but there was no sign for improvement in the weather. So after both Amtrak Empire Builder trains passed through, it was time to call it off for the day. Hopefully the weather will be much better for next week.
