Lake Cook Road Railfanning

Andrew Mangalindan, Casey Walker, Miles Jajich, and David Dupuis
represent A-Train4014 Productions at Lake Cook Road station. While
we were there, the action was slow in the beginning. Earlier this week,
Metra announced a modified schedule on the Milwaukee District North
Line due to a massive track construction which results no Metra trains
(Inbound and Outbound) being serviced beyond Lake Forest. The
construction is scheduled to be completed towards the end of April.
By the end of the day, CP was able to squeeze in three more freight
trains with lots of foreign power. Overall, it was a solid day at Lake
Cook Road. There was lots of candidates for “Highlight of the Day”
but there was one train that really stood out among the rest. Enjoy

Lake Forest Railfanning

Recorded on 4/2/18
After hearing word that a NS Heritage Unit is close by,
our crew headed out trackside to Lake Forest (Last minute)
and luckily we had enough time to set up. After catching it,
we stayed in Lake Forest for a little bit till lunch hour. Overall,
we’re satisfied and we can officially add another NS Heritage
Unit to our scorecard.

West Chicago Railfanning

Recorded on 3/30/18
Andrew Mangalindan and Casey Walker represent A-Train4014
Productions as we hit a brand new location: West Chicago with
special guests Aaron Gonzales (BNSF Fan 7695), Andrew Bandur,
and TrainFanatic1996. West Chicago is known as one of the busiest
places for trains on the Union Pacific Geneva Subdivision because it
crosses the Canadian National Leithton Subdivision. The action was
consistent on both the CN Leithton Sub and the UP Geneva Sub yet
surprisingly not very many Metra trains but the freight trains were the
stars of the show. Overall, it was a fun time in West Chicago and we’re
hoping to come back later this year. Witness our very first time in West
Chicago as we catch trains on the UP and the CN with Metra trains included.

Lake Villa Railfanning

Andrew Mangalindan brings Casey Walker to Lake Villa
on the CN Waukesha Subdivision to represent A-Train4014
Productions for another railfanning session. Previously, our
last visit to Lake Villa went so well that we decided to come
back during Casey’s Spring Break. While the action may not
have been consistent like last week, but the catches were
unbelievable. Overall, another solid day in Lake Villa. Enjoy

Lake Forest Railfanning

Lake Forest Railfanning

Time flies when our very own, Andrew Mangalindan films trains
trackside all week. Unfortunately, his spring break is coming to a
close. So we made one last trip out trackside at Lake Forest for
another filming day. While the action may not have been consistent
like at Lake Villa and Hinsdale, but it was still another solid railfanning
day. As our other crew members, Casey Walker, Miles Jajich, and
David Dupuis, their spring break is about to begin. Hopefully we
will try to make another trip trackside during Andrew’s upcoming
busy week. Overall, it was a solid week as we were able to make
successful trips to Hinsdale and Lake Villa and finally ending spring

Lake Villa Railfanning

It’s been long overdue for a railfanning trip to the CN
Waukesha Subdivision in Lake Villa, IL; our home. On
Wednesday, March 21, 2018, it was time for a trip to the
CN and it treated us well. As soon as we arrived, there
was already a freight train waiting closeby. Since then,
the action has been fairly consistent. Overall, it was a
great day in Lake Villa and Highlight of the Day was
tough to pick. Enjoy the show!
