Andrew Mangalindan created a Top 26 Train Photos slideshow. If you follow us on Instagram, Andrew has been posted his Top 26 Train Photos (One photo per day) since September 1, 2017 to countdown to his birthday. So we thought we share the top photos that we’ve taken over the past year or so.
Andrew Mangalindan, Owner/Founder of A-Train4014 Productions turns 21 years old today on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. Recently, our team went out trackside to celebrate Andrew's birthday. He may not be holding beer or hanging out at a casino anytime soon but we'll definately see him trackside capturing trains on video. Our very own, Andrew Mangalindan turns 21 years old today. Like, Comment, and Share to wish him a Happy Birthday!
A-Train4014 Productions goes trackside at Lake Forest station on the CP C&M Sub for a special occasion. Our very own, Andrew Mangalindan will be turning 21 years old on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. To celebrate, what better way than going trackside. Due to scheduling conflicts, Branden Phillips is unable to make it. However, Miles Jajich and Casey Walker join in on the fun for the birthday bash. In addition, our closest colleague: David Dupuis (The Boeing Railroader) also joins us. While waiting on trains, we were making each other laugh with Snapchat filters and pranks. The action started off slow. By the late afternoon, the freight trains were coming in a hurry. On this day, we say goodbye to our original introduction featuring the song, “Don’t Look Down” by Martin Garrix and Usher. It was fun while it lasted but it's time to make a change. Overall, it was a really fun day as we were able to survive the heat at Lake Forest celebrating Andrew’s birthday.

It’s been a while since we’ve been out trackside on a weekday. Since it was almost Andrew’s birthday, he decided to head out to Lake Forest on his day off from school on Friday, September 22, 2017 for some railfanning to himself before he turns 21 years old soon. It's been a very busy day. Canadian Pacific has squeezed in more freights after the Metra and Amtrak trains. In fact, there were a total of 12 freights trains. In total, we caught 54 trains. Since there were so much trains, the video is almost an hour long. Enjoy the action from Lake Forest on Friday, September 22, 2017.

A-Train4014 Productions heads out to Union, IL at the Illinois Railway Museum for The Showcase. Andrew Mangalindan, Branden Phillips, and Casey Walker represent us on the museum property as this will be our final trip to the museum for a while. In addition, David Dupuis (The Boeing Railroader), Elijah Jackson (Baltic 144 Productions), Sam Foster (SamLovesTrains), Zack (Look For Trains), James Keats Jr (Metra 109 Productions), and Harry Fairbanks (TheLOKRailfan) spend time with the team around the museum property. Today was also David Dupuis’ birthday so he turns 16 years old. Since he is our closest colleague, we want to wish him a very Happy Birthday! On the museum property, Frisco 1630 and CB&Q 9911A were operating train rides. In addition, we all got an opportunity to ride in the cab of CB&Q 9911A on the 4 mile stretch of track. Keep watching till the very end for a railfanning blooper video featuring our very own, Casey Walker. Stay tuned as we have more videos coming up soon in celebration of our very own, Andrew Mangalindan as he turns 21 years old on September 26. So the Railfanning Birthday Bash is coming up soon!
Our very own, Andrew Mangalindan will be giving you a tour of the A-Train4014 Productions Headquarters. Throughout the tour, he will show you the ways around the office where videos have been edited and exported before being posted on YouTube. In addition, find out how Andrew hangs out in the headquarters when there aren’t any videos being worked on.
A-Train4014 Productions makes a last minute decision to head out trackside on the CP C&M Sub at Wadsworth to catch Amtrak Empire Builder 8 which featured five private coaches on the rear of the train. While we’re there, we caught the pair of Amtrak Hiawatha trains featuring the Siemens Charger 4620 with Amtrak NPCU 90221. In addition, we caught CP 199 and CP 287 at the last minute. Even though CP 199 and CP 287 didn’t have anything special, it was still a solid day of railfanning at Wadsworth.
Andrew Mangalindan and Casey Walker represented A-Train4014 Productions this weekend as they went trackside for some railfanning at Lake Forest, IL on the CP C&M Sub. The action started off slow. However, the action picked up by the afternoon. By the afternoon, we ran into some difficulty of backlighting so we apologize for the backlit shots in our video. Due to the circumstances, we didn’t want our crew to be in jeopardy of any possible injuries so we weren’t unable to avoid the backlit. On the other hand, we saw our friend, Rob Dargan working on Train 2610 and 2613 so we stuck around until he came back later in the day. Overall, it was a great day at Lake Forest. Stay tuned for our trip to the Illinois Railway Museum: The Showcase and our Railfanning Birthday Bash for our very own, Andrew Mangalindan who turns 21 years old on Tuesday, September 26.
After spending a day at the Illinois Railway Museum last night, A-Train4014 Productions returns trackside at Lake Forest, IL on the CP C&M Sub. MbtaFan1071 Productions and one of our closest colleagues, Andrew Sonkin (NorthbrookRailfannerProductions) joins our very own, Andrew Mangalindan and Miles Jajich for a Labor Day Edition of railfanning. The action was average. The reason was Metra was operating a Sunday/Holiday Schedule for Labor Day. Not many trains showed up as the usual trains that would be seen on a regular weekday. Overall, it was a fun day as we survived the windy, cloudy, sunny, and rainy day at Lake Forest.
